Pre- Appointment Planning

In order to prepare for a productive first meeting, here are a few things we would like you to consider and share with us on our call:

• Identify the spaces in your home that are part of your design project.

• Think about the function of the space (i.e. home office that also doubles as a guest room)
• Who will be using the space(s) that are a part of the scope of the project?
• How do you want the space to feel?
• What items must stay and be included in the design?
• Determine your budget/invest in this project?
• If you could take photos or videos of your home, focusing on the areas that are your priorities
• Share inspiration photos from my portfolio, Houzz, or Instagram

Initial Design Consultation

During our initial call, we will review your answers to the pre-appointment questions as they will help us to understand your personal goals. We are very inquisitive so don’t be surprised if we ask you many more questions as well – the more details we gather helps us tremendously in the design process and helps us to hone in on your design preferences and functional needs.

• We collaboratively will create a “wish list” of design elements called for to accomplish your goal.
• And we will offer a budget estimate based on your wish list and will fine-tune if your budget and your wish list don’t align.
• Lastly, we will discuss your desired timeline and set project expectations.

Initiating the Design Process

We require a design agreement fee that is five percent of the agreed-upon budget (for example, for a target budget of $15,000, there would be a $750 fee) to initiate the design process. That will be our cue to begin our space planning and identifying design elements to achieve the transformation that you long for. We will want to arrange a visit so that we can measure your space to create a proper space plan. After all, it is the details that matter most in accomplishing satisfying design results!

The Design Presentation

Within 10-14 days, we will schedule a virtual presentation meeting so that we can share with you the beautiful design that we have put together for you – you won’t have to stress about budget either – we make sure that our presentation will stay within your targeted investment. We will offer plans, mood boards, inspiration photos, 3-D renderings, images of furnishings, fabrics, finishes to enable you to envision options for your redesigned space, either on the virtual presentation platform or by email just prior to our meeting.

The Proposal and Regular Updates

After we have finetuned the details of your design plan – and arrived at a look you love – we will finalize the quote. This will incorporate the cost of taxes, shipping, delivery, installation. Upon receipt of a seventy percent down payment, your orders will be placed.

We will keep you updated weekly as to the status of your project and the production of your beautiful custom furnishings.

The Big Reveal

We love Reveal day!  This is the time when all the planning and design comes to life and your home is transformed into the space you’ve dreamed of!

We’ll encourage you to spend a few hours out while we get busy attending to every detail making sure that your home is everything that you expect and more! Once the installation is complete, we’ll notify you to come back home to experience your transformation. We’ll walk you through your beautiful space (happy tears are encouraged) and invite you to take in the stunning details of your home.

It is at this point that your final thirty percent balance will be due.
