Master Bath Overhaul

Luxury Master Bath Makeover

Location: Polk City, Iowa

Designer Credits: Karen Miller - Miller Design Group

Project Overview:

The client wanted a clean streamlined spa-like look providing a space for them to relax. This bathroom from 2005 was outdated and needed a refresh including removing the large outdated garden tub. The update eliminated the single sink Formica countertop and provided the owners with a custom cabinet with double sinks. The custom cabinet maximizes their organization space. One of the bonus features is the recessed medicine cabinet, flanked by crystal sconces. The soaker tub is highlighted by a one-of-a-kind tile wall and chandelier, making it the perfect place to relax after a long day. The zero-entry shower with the oversized tile, river rock flooring, and glass doors is a showstopper. The shower is completed with a marble waterfall edge, which compliments the tile and marries beautifully with the bathroom floor. With layered lighting using the can lights, the chandelier, and sconces the homeowner can set their desired mood. This refresh is topped off with a bidet toilet. The client now has a luxury master bath that allows them to relax and no longer leave their home for a spa-like experience.
